We've sourced a sump guard bash plate off a grass tracker and better wheels and tyres which only took a modicum of fettling to fit (wheels) as the front hubs on the Seat were slightly over sized. However it was worth the effort as the handling is vastly improved.
The grass track guy was telling me he bought a car trailer off ebay and picks up cars for £15 and sells them as scrap after racing them for £180 a ton (steel).
Nice to have a hobby that pays for itself, but you need a big yard and unlike me not get emotionally attached to your car.. sniff!
